West Virginia Ethics Commission Issues Public Reprimand

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Ethics Commission issued a “public reprimand” against a public official as part of a settlement agreement it approved on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

In her agreement with the Commission, Dina B. Foster, the General Manager of the Pea Ridge Public Service District, admitted that she violated the Ethics Act by using a credit card, issued to the Public Service District, for personal expenditures between October 1, 2011, and September 21, 2012.  In addition to the public reprimand, Foster was ordered to pay a fine of $2,000 and to undergo training on the Ethics Act.
