CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Ethics Commission announced today that it will present a one-hour training course on the provisions of the Ethics Act relevant to lobbyists on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ethics Commission’s Conference Room at 210 Brooks Street, 3rd floor in Charleston, WV.
First-time lobbyists in West Virginia who have not attended lobbyist training must complete this training within 90 days of the date on which they registered to lobby. All lobbyists registered in West Virginia must complete one training course during the January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2016, lobbyist registration cycle.

Lobbyists may also fulfill the statutory training requirement by viewing a training video on the Ethics Commission’s website at www.ethics.wv.gov.
